What do we do

Efficient Electrical Control Panel/System Design. 

Let's explain the process we can do in five simple steps. You need a control panel or control system (set of panels) for your equipment and explain to us what the control system should do. When: 

  1. We design a simple preliminary diagram of the project to discuss with you.  

  2. If step 1 is approved, we design a control system flow chart document to estimate the necessary inputs and outputs and prepare the list of required PLC/HMI/IO modules.  

  3. If step 2 is approved, we design electrical documentation (schematic diagrams, termination diagrams, cable diagrams, etc., depending on the project size and requirements) and control programs.  

  4. If step 3 is approved, you order parts and panel build, and we support this process to make it done.    

  5. When the panel is installed, we come to you, set it up, start it up and commission it.

Who we are

Let's make it clear. At the moment I am starting it myself. My name is Yuriy Mosiyenko. I have quite a few years of experience in the industrial automation field, worked in Europe, offshore of Africa, built factory in Georgia, and now am working in Canada. Although I was working for brilliant companies before and got a lot of experience there, I found that I really want to improve efficiency in electrial controls design process in North America, and I have ideas how to do that. And to do that I went to my own business jorney. Why do I say WE? Because my vision is to build the great team of professionals, as I will not be able to significantly improve the situation with industry inefficiency by myself. So, I am going to make sure that it is not long until here will be WE not I.

Why

Our goal is to create an efficient electrical control design system, which must provide a few core advantages to our customer:
- the electrical control system design is done fast
- the electrical control system design is financially effective
- a control system is reliable and does not require a very experienced electrical professional to commission it. 

How

By using a few simple ideas

Implement a high level of reusable design objects (in both industrial programming software and electrical documentation design). 
  • This can help to make up to 80% of each new electrical design task to be similar to assembling a Lego model, without having to re-invent a bicycle on each new design, so it is fast. 

  • Because it is fast, and because it does not require a high-experienced professional to assemble Lego, the financial efficiency is much higher. 

  • Reusable blocks have been already commissioned and tested, the reliability of the system is much higher. 

Create the design system, which should include a strong set of principles, standards, rules and procedures.
  • This way the customer receives a standard design of the project each time, which is easy to read and implement, and which is not going to rely on the individual preferences of the designer responsible for the project.

  • The project is being released to the customer much faster again because the designer should not re-invent a bicycle each time.

With both principles above implement the automated design of standard project blocks, using great technologies, that are being developed by the companies which products I am using - Siemens, Eplan, CoDeSys.
  • Again, for my customer, it means faster design, higher reliability, better financial effectiveness, and a higher standardization level. 



When we may be a good help for you

You need an electrical control panel/system design, which includes:
  • project documentation (overview diagrams, schematic diagrams, cable diagrams, termination diagrams, etc.). 
  • PLC/HMI software. 
  • panel build support (you select your own panel builder, or we select one ourselves) and installation support. 
  • start-up and commissioning on site. 
  • We don't do 3D panel design yet, but are planning to start with it soon. If you are interested, it can be discussed.
You are willing to let us choose the industrial control equipment (We are using Siemens PLC/HMI and TIA Portal programming environment or CoDeSys or you have already decided to use Siemens or Codesys-compatible control equipment.
You don't mind getting electrical documentation design made in Eplan, or a set of DWG drawings (exported from Eplan), or "smart" pdf drawings (all links, references, device tags, and relations are clickable and connected).

When we may be not the best choice for you

  • You need to spend as much of your budget as possible by getting an ineffective, expensive design process.
  • You have specific requirements that are not aligned with our set of tools and experience. For example, you need to use a specific PLC, which we don't have good experience with and don't have software for it (see our requirements above). Or you need to have your documentation design made in different CAD software. 
  • you need us to build control panels for you. We don't have this ability yet. We can work with panel builders we normally work with, or you can use your own panel builder, which we can support.
